Anaesthesiology
The Department of Anaesthesiology at People Tree Hospitals is an important medical specialty which focuses on providing safe and effective pain relief, patient safety, comfort and satisfaction before, during and after the operative procedure. The department has a dedicated team of anaesthesiologists, intensivists, and skilled nurses / technicians who provide a comprehensive range of services for all types of surgeries.
In our pre-Anaesthesia clinic (PAC) thorough evaluation of the patient’s medical history, clinical examination and diagnostic tests are conducted before surgery which helps the anaesthesiologist to optimize and prepare the patient for the surgery. Ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgery is of utmost importance, and minimizing the risk of anaesthesia-related side effects or complications.
With our state of art operation theatres, using latest medical technology and instruments, we offer dedicated services for all surgeries including organ transplant, neuro-surgeries, cardiothoracic joeacic surgeriescardiac cases, complex trauma and orthopedics, plastic and reconstructive procedures, gastro-surgeries, urology, ENT, dental and obstetric and gynecological procedures as well as daycare procedures. Anaesthesia services outside the operation theatre include labour analgesia, anesthesia and sedation in the cathlab, CT room, MRI suite and endoscopy room along with pain-relief procedures.
We focus on dedicated post-operative care with acute postoperative pain relief services, early mobilization and physiotherapy in our post anaesthesia care units (PACU) which helps in enhanced recovery post-surgery.
We have a well established critical care department with a team of qualified intensivists for managing complex and critical medical and surgi cal conditions with unparalleled expertise.
